Phi Retreat

Our baby phis had their annual Phi Retreat this past Sunday, August 25th, at Wet N Wild Oktibehha Lake! The day included plenty of sisterhood, laying out in the sun, swimming, and taking cute pictures!    

                                                     

Bid Day 2013

On Saturday, August 17th, Phi Mu had 89 amazing girls become new members! Phi Mu's theme of bid day this year was based off the movie Grease, using the line "You're the one that we want!"  Everyone joined at the Phi Mu house to eat cake, give the new members gifts, and to take the annual bid day pictures. Later that night, all the members including the new phis went roller skating at the Starkville Skate Rink to celebrate!

It's that time again, move in day at the Phi Mu house! Saturday, we moved back in to our beautiful house together. It was fun to help each other decorate, organize, and hang out. We are so excited to be back together and are ready to start recruitment next week. We cannot wait for bid day when all of our new members get to come back home with us!

National Convention 2012

Phi Mu held its 52nd biannual convention in San Antonio, Texas, the city of quatrefoils July 4-7.

President, Leslie Gregg, was the Kappa Alpha chapter voting delegate during business sessions. Other KA in attendance were Phi Director, Lindi Morgan, Chapter Adviser, Jamie Methvin, Past Chapter Adviser, Cathy Godwin, and National Panhellenhic Conference Delegate, Shani Burley. 

The event included several meetings, seminars, and activities including a 4th of July party. Our representatives worked hard all week and represented Phi Mu KA so well!

Throughout the weekend, KA received several honors and awards: Perfect Risk Management Score, 100% Participation in M3, Chapter Total Award for 2010-2012 Recruitment, Perfect 10 Award, Academic Honor Roll, 50 years of Excellence on Campus, National Award for March Madness 100% participation, Philomathean Society Award.

We are so excited and so proud and can't wait for yet another great 2 years!

Senior Farewell

On April 23 we had our senior farewell to honor our graduating seniors who are becoming alumni. It was a night of sisterhood with joy, laughter, and tears. To show their appreciation, the seniors gifted us with a beautiful plaque for our front pathway to remind us each day what Phi Mu stands for. Thank you for your gift seniors! Pledge class '08 you will be missed but never forgotten. We love you and good luck in your future!
